HP Officejet g85 All-in-One
NOTE: Due to the size of the download and the time it would take, HP recommends ordering the CD-ROM version rather than downloading the Web version of the driver without broadband (Cable, DSL, T1, or equivalent) Internet access.
Uninstall the previous HP Officejet G Series software
Click Start and select Programs.
Select HP Officejet G Series and click Uninstall Software.
Restart the PC.
After restarting the PC, the Update Device Driver Wizard window will appear. Click Cancel.
Click the driver to download. The driver will download onto the PC hard drive at the default location. To change the location, create or select another location. For example, create or select a C:/G_SERIES subdirectory.
Close all applications including virus checkers and screen savers.
To expand and launch the driver, double-click the driver file. The files will automatically expand temporarily and be placed into the Windows Temp Directory. Follow the installer directions to install the driver.
After the driver has installed, delete the expanded driver files that were originally downloaded to C:/G_SERIES or the browser default location.
Remove the expanded files in the Windows Temp Directory to free space on the hard drive.
