WARNING: This patch will NOT work with the older drivers version 1.0.2 / A.12.00.16 (CD P/N C8424-10004), and 1.2. 1 / A.12.00.00 (CD P/N C8424-10002), and earlier.

The installation Instructions are as follows:

Temporarily disable any antivirus software.

Exit any running applications, games, utilities, and multimedia applications.

Download the file, HPPSC700SeriesDisconnectionFix.exe to a local drive. Make note where (in which folder) the file gets copied.

In Windows Explorer (or by some equivalent means) go to the folder where HPPSC700SeriesDisconnectionFix.exe was copied; run the program.

Follow installation of the HP PSC700 Series Disconnection Fix to completion.

Enable any antivirus software that was disabled during this installation.
