Canon CanoScan 300 600 660 2700F FS2710 FB620S Driver. This is for BOTH UNIX AND LINUX -).
File Contents: This S.A.N.E. (Scanner Access Now Easy) driver, dated dated 1999.11.14, has been out for a while, but only "alpha"-tested (not even "beta-tested" yet). Filesize is 7.5k. It may have problems with Linux/Unix's generic SCSI driver, causing your system to hang...this can be solved 100% with patches available at this same site.
Additional patches are available at the site for Canon FB620S and Canon FS2710.
As of this writing (Aug/2002) Canon scanner models IX-4015 & FB1200S are only partly supported--they work, but not up to their max limits.
This site supports Canon's SCSI scanners, but includes links to PARALLEL-PORT and USB driver projects.
LinuxVoodoo.com also has good driver links.
